Halloween (2018) is a direct sequel to the 1978 original, set 40 years after Michael Myers’ initial killing spree. Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis), now a hardened survivor, has been preparing for Myers’ return. When he escapes from custody, she faces him in a final confrontation to protect her family. The film reboots the series’ continuity, focusing on Laurie’s trauma and resilience.
