Fanny and Alexander – 1982 (DVD)

Brand new case. Disc in mint condition.

Ingmar Bergman’s swansong to his childhood and the magic of youth. This is the story of two children, Fanny and Alexander, both from a theatrical family in Provincial Sweden. Torn by the sudden death of their father, and by their mother’s decision to remarry the cold-hearted Bishop Yergerus, the children’s lives take a dramatic turn when they relocate to their stepfather’s seemingly haunted house. It is here the children meet Isak, a long-time family friend who harbors powers of magic and may offer a plan of escape.
