This distinguished album marries the elegance of classical music with the brilliance of renowned artists, featuring Joseph Haydn’s Violin Concerto in C major, Hob. VIIa:1, and Leonard Bernstein’s Serenade after Plato’s \’Symposium\’. Performed by the Wrttembergische Philharmonie Reutlingen under the baton of Ola Rudner, with virtuoso violinist Kolja Blacher, the selection showcases the depth and diversity of classical repertoire. Haydn’s concerto, a masterpiece of the classical era, is celebrated for its lyrical beauty and intricate violin solos. Bernstein’s Serenade, inspired by Plato’s philosophical dialogues, offers a rich, multi-movement exploration of love. Together, these pieces encapsulate the transformative power of classical music.Violinkonzert C-Dur, Hob.VIIa:1
