Richard Gere became a star in this glossy, sexy, thriller from writer director Paul Schrader (“Taxi Driver”). A male hustler (Gere) has it all until his life is turned upside down when accused of the murder of one of his former “clients”. Brilliantly directed by Schrader, this film features one of the first major motion picture full frontal male nude scenes (of Gere).
